Pax! I’m Laurie
I am a late convert from witchcraft to Catholicism. I am a wife and mother to five. Three in heaven and two who have grown up and made me an empty nester recently. I create content about the Catholic Faith and my journey through it. As part of that, I have found myself within Benedictine spirituality, various ministries, including a non confrontational healing and deliverance ministry. I am also studying herbalism from a Christian herbalist school.
Having left the diverse world of occult practice with its false promises of empowerment and healing, I now know where to truly find those things. There is nothing more empowering than claiming my place as a beloved daughter of God. There is no spell more powerful than surrendering to Christ!
Mission
The mission of Apotheca Unicornis is to explore ways of healing spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally through the lens of the Catholic Faith. We will explore many ways to do this including but not limited to: maintaining a healthy spiritual life by keeping the five precepts of the Church, healing and deliverance, herbalism and other forms of natural medicine, ways of nurturing and restoring family and community, restoring mental and emotional health by all the ways mentioned above but also focusing on digital minimalism.
